Aunque mucha gente crea que el sistema de salud de los EEUU es completamente privado, la realidad es que es mixto. Casi la mitad de la población está cubierta por la sanidad pública, y la otra mitad, por la privada.

Desafortunadamente, el sistema actual se basa en la socialización de los costes más elevados, y en la privatización de los beneficios. Me explico: la sanidad pública cubre a las personas por debajo del umbral de la pobreza, y a los jubilados, millones de ellos con enfermedades crónicas. En cambio, la privada cubre a las personas más jóvenes con un mejor estado de salud, lo que les permite poder tener beneficios.

2. The atomic numbers of the elements hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and phosphorus, which make up deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA)
3. The formulas for the sugars and bases in the nucleotides of DNA
4. The number of nucleotides in DNA, and a graphic of the double helix structure of DNA

Great, that is what I am made of!

His research, which was published in a medical journal, has since been quoted by hundreds of other doctors and researchers as “proof” that Celebrex helped reduce pain during post-surgical recovery. There’s only one problem with all this: No patients were ever enrolled in the study!

Dr. Scott Reuben, it turns out, faked the entire study and got it published anyway.

It wasn’t the first study faked by Dr. Reuben: He also faked study data on Bextra and Vioxx drugs, reports the Wall Street Journal.

As a result of Dr. Reuben’s faked studies, the peer-reviewed medical journal Anesthesia & Analgesia was forced to retract 10 “scientific” papers authored by Reuben. The Day of London reports that 21 articles written by Dr. Reuben that appear in medical journals have apparently been fabricated, too, and must be retracted.

150 leyes, que fueron publicadas en el Diario Oficial en ediciones restringidas.

Ocho de estos textos tuvieron por finalidad introducir modificaciones a la Ley 13.190 -conocida como Ley del Cobre-, que aseguró a los militares el 10% de las ventas del metal rojo. Cada uno de estos cambios “mejoró” esa condición, llegando a establecerse, a través del Decreto Ley 984 del 11 de abril de 1975, un doble seguro. En él se dispuso aquel año que “si la cantidad total del rendimiento del 10% fuera inferior a US$90 millones, la diferencia deberá ser completada por el fisco”.

Ya en 1985, la Ley 18.445 del 7 de octubre de ese año reguló que si la cantidad total de ese 10% era inferior esta vez a US$180 millones, igualmente el fisco estaba obligado a completar la diferencia.

Dos años más tarde, el 23 de junio de 1987, los jefes militares adquirieron todavía más poder respecto de las platas del cobre cuando la Ley 18.628 determinó que “para la inversión de estos fondos, el acuerdo del citado organismo (se refiere al Consejo Superior de la Defensa Nacional) deberá contar con el voto favorable de los comandantes en jefe del Ejército, Armada y Fuerza Aérea”.
